Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

All Tree Service, Inc. is committed to conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at conformance level AA. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the standard this site is built and tested against, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to when anything is added. We treat a failure against WCAG 2.2 AA as a defect rather than as a preference.

How to report a barrier

If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, tell us and we will fix it. Email accessibility@alltreeservicesr.com or telephone (707) 843-2333 and ask for the person responsible for accessibility. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We acknowledge every report within 5 working days.

You may also use the estimate and enquiry form, which reaches the same mailbox and does not require an account.

Accessibility features implemented in this build

Each feature below is present in the build you are reading. Nothing is listed as an aspiration.

  • A skip-navigation link is the first focusable element on every page and moves focus to the main landmark.
  • Semantic landmarks on every page: one header, one nav, exactly one main, and one footer.
  • A visible focus indicator of 2px at a contrast ratio above 3:1 against every background it can appear on.
  • Scroll padding reserved for the sticky header and the sticky call bar, so a focused element is never hidden behind them.
  • Every interactive control is at least 48 by 48 pixels with 8 pixels of separation.
  • Body text is never set below 16 pixels, so mobile browsers do not zoom when an input takes focus.
  • Every form input has a visible label bound to it, a correct type, an autofill token, and aria-required where the field is mandatory.
  • Validation errors are linked to their input with aria-describedby and announced in a live region.
  • The mobile menu reports its state with aria-expanded, closes on Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it.
  • Every image carries either descriptive alt text or an explicit decorative marking with an empty alt attribute.
  • Every image and embed declares width and height, so nothing shifts under the pointer as the page loads.
  • Colour contrast meets 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text across every combination the design system permits.
  • Animation and transitions are disabled for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
  • The map and any third-party embed load only when requested, so nothing appears without warning.

Known limitations, and when they will be fixed

Third-party audit results

No third-party accessibility audit has been carried out on this site, and All Tree Service, Inc. has received no accessibility complaint or demand letter. Testing to date is our own: automated axe-core checks over every route in the build pipeline, plus a manual keyboard traversal at 375 pixels and 1440 pixels. When an independent audit is commissioned, its findings will be published in this section with the auditor named and the date given.

Alternative formats

We can supply a written estimate, an arborist report or any page of this site as large print, as plain text, as an accessible PDF, or read to you over the telephone.
